Workshop 2: Strengthening Communication skills-attentive listening, decoding and encoding messages, confrontation strategies.

Workshop 2: Introduction of time management strategies and application. Develop a plan to be implemented.

This is a fun way to give staff a break from the stress accumulated in the workplace. They will be guided through a visualization exercise and then create a vision board. The vision board will then be transformed into an action plan-goals to support their wellness.
This is a 2 hr. workshop and can be done virtually or in-person.

I have been a clinical supervisor for ASWs, AMFTs, and APCCs for the past 15 years and have seen the procrastination, frustration, disappointment and emotional stress the licensure paperwork and process bring to supervisees and supervisors alike. Therefore, if you are in need of guidance and support to navigate the journey to licensure take advantage of the services below as they have been designed for you.
For new therapists or ASW's that did not facilitate therapy sessions while accruing clinical hrs. These are hands-on workshops where you will be role-playing as a therapist in order to understand how the clinical exam material is applied.
Workshop 1: Beginning phase of treatment- informed consent, assessment & diagnosis
Workshop 2: Middle phase of treatment- Interventions for common diagnosis.
Workshop 3: End phase of treatment- termination issues.

This is a 3 hr. workshop to review the law and ethics material for the law and ethics and clinical exams and understand common ethical dilemmas faced in practice. We will be identifying the ethical and legal obligations of clinicians and the values that drive our practice as well as how those apply during treatment.
Whether you are a supervisor or supervisee in need of help navigating the process of submitting hours to the BBS or figuring out how to count them, this coaching is for you.
If you need help in practicing the material learned in preparing for the exam, we will engage in mock diagnosis, differential diagnosis discussions, and examples of how the material is applied during treatment to support your learning.
